'City's R70m offer refused'

RELEGATED Cape Town City are running out of options after Richards Bay reportedly turned down a R70 million offer from the Kaapse span for their Premiership status.
After a season that began with title aspirations, City’s campaign ended in disappointment, finishing second from bottom in the league.
Their hopes of retaining topflight status through the PSL promotion/relegation playoffs were dashed, as Orbit College secured promotion instead.
Status
Talk quickly emerged that City would seek to buy another club's status in order to remain in the top flight.
