'Beware of drugs in jellies'

MENSE in Bellville South are urged to exercise caution following alarming reports of sweets allegedly containing tik circulating on the streets.

The warning comes after two people were hospitalised after consuming these lekkers which were received from an unknown source.

The sweets are similar to hardened jelly the size of an ice cube and come in various colours.

According to Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi, an enquiry has been registered following the hospitalisation of the victims.
