How to get your little one eating solid foods

STARTING solids is an exciting milestone - for baba and parents.

There are many views on this topic, and at times, we simply agree to disagree.

There are different opinions on the “right” age to start solids, and even on which foods to introduce first.

You may hear a mother say: “My baby is not getting full from milk alone.” From a clinic perspective, exclusive breastfeeding or formula feeding is generally recommended for the first six months, as it provides all the nutrients your baby needs during this stage.

Introducing solids too early can place unnecessary strain on an immature digestive system.
