Mott hopes Hazlewood 'fix' threat is just a wind up

MATTHEW MOTT believes Josh Hazlewood was probably joking when he claimed Australia might ‘fix’ England’s World Cup exit.

Hazlewood put the boot in after helping Australia effectively seal qualification for the Super 8s with a top bowling performance in a comfortable win over Namibia.

Admitting the Aussies had endured “some real struggles” against England in T20 cricket, he added: “If we can get them out of the tournament, that’s in our best interest as well as probably everyone else’s.”
