Guineas winners will slog it out at Leopardstown

HOMELESS SONGS is “very likely” to oppose hot favourite, stablemate and fellow 1,000 Guineas heroine Tahiyra in Saturday’s Group One Matron Stakes at Leopardstown.

Dermot Weld saddled the Moyglare Stud’s Homeless Songs to a thumping five-and-a-halflength triumph in the fillies’ test in May 2022 and completed back-to-back successes in the Classic when Tahiyra beat old rival Meditate at the Curragh this year.
