Garry eyes Vegas double with hero

LAS VEGAS should prepare for an Irish invasion if lan Machado Garry gets his way.

While undefeated Garry has quickly made his name in the UFC and has a growing army of fans, few sporting stars on the planet can compete with the box office draw of Conor McGregor.

"The Notorious' (inset), who has been out of the octagon since breaking a leg in July 2021, has announced his long-awaited comeback will be on June 29 against Michael Chandler in Sin City.

Fellow Dubliner Garry, who is 13-0, must first get through a February 18 clash with Geoff Neal in California, but nothing will stop him catching the former double champion's return or, ideally, performing on the same show.
