Yeboah still stands out as Mr Goal of the Month

THERE are two types of football fans those who think Tony Yeboah's goal against Wimbledon was his best and those who believe his strike against Liverpool was better.

There will never be a definitive answer but what can be agreed is that both were absolute bangers.

This week's Foreign Legion focuses on the players from Ghana who have lit up the Premier League and few have shone brighter than Yeboah.

He arrived at Leeds from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 1995 and quickly established himself as an Elland Road favourite, scoring 12 goals in 18 games.

But it was in the 1995-96 season that the quality of his goals, rather than the quantity, really got people talking.

On the opening day at West Ham he rifled an effort into the top corner with his left foot that was past goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko before he could even move.
