SPURS PRIMED FOR XAVI MOVE

TOTTENHAM could look to hijack Chelsea’s move for Xavi Simons.

RB Leipzig are ready to sell the Holland star for £60m in this window and Simons had set his heart on a move to Stamford Bridge.

But Chelsea need to offload before they can press ahead with moves for Simons, and last night it looked like they were poised to capture Manchester United outcast Alejandro Garnacho.

It means Thomas Frank (left) can take advantage of any uncertainty around Simons, 22, who has 28 international caps and is the sort of playmaker Spurs need.
