MY adult son becomes violent and abusive if I don’t do as he says.

From sorting out his problems to giving him cash, I never get a moment's peace.

He's 32 yet continues to lean on me for everything. I'm exhausted and have had enough.

We're at loggerheads because he’s insisting I withdraw the last of my savings to give to him.

I'm demoralised and scared. He can be so vicious when riled and I don’t know how much fight I've got left.

I tried my best to give him a decent childhood, but he went off the rails at 16 after he got in with a bad crowd.

His adult life has been littered with toxic mates and failed relationships. Last year I had to sell my car to pay off money he owed a local crook. I once paid for an ex-girlfriend’s abortion.
