Arne must act quick and make case for defence

ARNE SLOT has walked on water since striding into Anfield to replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager.

He won the Premier League title at the first attempt - and at one stage he had the Reds on course for a historic Quadruple.

He also gained a new legion of admirers for somehow making his team better than it had become under Klopp.

But Slot is now in danger of dropping beneath the surface, as he discovers it is much harder to remain at the top, than to reach it in the first place.
