Kop boss takes the blame for horrendous run of results

ARNE SLOT admitted he feels guilty about the “ridiculous” run of form that has left Liverpool's Premier League title defence in tatters.

A sixth defeat in seven league games has cranked up the pressure on the Reds boss, who accepts he still has to prove himself at Anfield despite leading the club to the title last season.

Saturday's dismal 3-0 home loss to Nottingham Forest led to Liverpool slipping into the bottom half of the table, trailing neighbours Everton.

Slot’s side will hope for some relief when they aim for a fourth win in five games in the opening Champions League stage with the visit of Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven tonight.
