Henderson to strike Gold again

JANGO BAIE (4.00) has what it takes to win today's Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup for Nicky Henderson and Nico de Boinville.

He finished behind the Jukebox Man and Gaelic Warrior when fourth in the King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day, but only three-quarters of a length covered them and Jango Baie can turn the tables.

We know he's effective on the track, having won the Arkle last year, and I think an improvement in his jumping will make all the difference this afternoon.

In the King George, his jumping was rated 7.3 by our Jump Index metric, which is the lowest he has recorded over fences. The only other time he scored less than 8.2 was when winning the Arkle last year.
