This season there has been no evidence of any robustness in this United outfit. When the going gets tough, they get going. Right into their shells.

There was more evidence of that against Copenhagen Wednesday. And what did that lead to? Odds tumbling further for Ten Hag to get the boot.

The Dutchman can feel hard done by with the decisions that went against his side in the Danish capital which has left their Champions League campaign on the brink.

He must be thinking - after Marcus Rashford sees red, an offside is missed in Copenhagen's opener, a soft penalty then goes against his side, and Rasmus Hojlund takes a blow to the chops with no punishment - that there is some sort of a curse on him.

But the question is: would Manchester City's players have crumbled like his United ones did? 

City have the trophy collection to answer that question.
