Sack fear for illness cover

Dear James, A COLLEAGUE in the same team as me has been off work on sick leave for a long time now.

The rest of us have really pulled to- gether and have actually managed to cover his workload completely.

But my concern is that, when they return to work, one of us may be considered surplus to requirements.

If everything has been going smoothly without them, the compa- ny may decide they don't need us both after all.
