On-loan ace can home in on trophy glory
BACK Marcus Rashford to make the most of home advantage at Wembley this tea-time.
Aston Villa face Crystal Palace (5.15pm, BBC One) in an FA Cup semi-final that’s typically tough to forecast, with the Wembley wobbles always a lurking spanner in the works.
But there won't be a player on the pitch who feels more completely in his comfort zone than 62-cap England star Rashford, who's played at the national stadium five times in the past 12 months alone.
From some angles, the Eagles - who are 5-4 to qualify for the final - are being underrated in the markets.
Palace have beaten Villa twice in their three meetings this season, with one drawn, and stuck eight goals past Unai Emery’s side in the process.
But you could argue that in at least two of those games Villa had bigger fish looming — and go into this match in stronger form than Palace, who shipped 12 goals in their past three trips away from Selhurst Park.
