Wooden satellites to cut space junk
WOOD you believe it? Boffins have built a satellite made of timber.
Scientists created the probe to avoid adding to the growing amount of junk in space.
The LignoSat probe is made of magnolia timber and will burn up in a spray of biodegradable ash when it comes back to earth.
