LIVERPOOL forward Cody Gakpo is targeting Champions League glory with the Premier League champions.

Gakpo wants to go for gold in Europe as well as at home after he helped the Reds to their 20th English league title last term.

Arne Slot's side suffered a last-16 exit at the hands of Paris St-Germain in the Champions League back in March.

But they went on to win the Premier League at a canter and have spent almost £300m this summer, with Newcastle’s Alexander Isak potentially still to come.
