TOM LAWRENCE has called out former Wales boss Rob Page for a lack of honesty over his four-year international exile.

The Rangers forward, 31, returned to the Red Dragons fold this week eager to make up for lost time ahead of the World Cup qualifiers getting under way this weekend.

Craig Bellamy recalled Lawrence, who has enjoyed a week to savour with the Glasgow giants - scoring the winning penalty in a Europa League shoot-out win over Fenerbahce and then coming off the bench during an Old Firm victory at Parkhead.

He last donned the red shirt in a friendly against Mexico four years ago.
