I'm house-sitting pretty right around the world

A pensioner who lives on just £300 a month has spent the past 20 years travelling the world and living out of a suitcase.

Tiera St Claire, 69, has no permanent home and instead supports herself through house and pet-sitting across the UK, Europe and the US.Since divorcing in 2005 after 18 years of marriage, she has adopted a nomadic lifestyle centred on freedom rather than security.

After her divorce, Tiera walked the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage across northern Spain, a journey she has now completed 15 times.

Soon after, a friend in Hawaii asked her to pet sit, marking the beginning of her new lifestyle.

"I just kept going. I've pet sat in Hawaii, New York and Florida and I have recurring sits in London, Madrid and other parts of Spain. I live out of a bag," she explained.
