Erling double all but seals spot
ERLING HAALAND was born two years after Norway last reached the World Cup finals in 1998.
But the Manchester City striker last night put his nation on the verge of bridging that gap.
Haaland, 25, struck twice in a 4-1 win over Estonia to take his season's tally to an astonishing 30 goals in all competitions and we are not even halfway through November.
Not since France '98 have Norway qualified for the finals and Haaland was born in July 2000.
All the goals came in a flurry in the second half in Oslo.
