The unlikely bedfellows have teamed up a few times over the years to cover songs by The Smiths, including at Glasto in 2024.

Now the pop crooner and indie band have discussed doing something fresh.

Rick told me: "Blossoms are amazing players and great musicians and great writers, it would be great to do something together. And we have talked occasionally about doing something, but I don’t know what that would be.
