Flea treatment risk

CHEMICALS commonly found in flea treatments have a negative impact on the environment, according to new research.

Dog owners have previously been advised to not let their pooch swim for two to four days following application.

But a study, published in Vet Record, shows that the chemicals are still present 28 days after treatment.
