‘FACING DEATH’ AT SAUDI WORLD CUP
FOOTBALL fans travelling to the World Cup in Saudi Arabia could risk death, Amnesty International has warned.
The Middle East nation – the only bidder to stage the 2034 tournament – executed 172 people last year.
And nearly 40% of those put to death between 2010 and 2021 were foreign nationals.
