BROOKLYN Beckham reunited with his godfather Sir Elton John at the Oscars - on the same day he snubbed his mum.

All eyes were on Brooklyn, 27, and wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 31, who were in good spirits as they attended Elton's 34th annual Academy Awards viewing party in West Hollywood on Sunday.

The Rocket Man, 78, has been playing the role of intermediary between the estranged Beckham family since Brooklyn accused his parents of being controlling and trying to ruin his wedding.

Brooklyn and Nicola were all smiles as they hit the red carpet in matching vintage Valentino black ensembles.
