DONALD Trump has said Britain will put troops on the ground in Ukraine - but ruled out America doing the same.

The US President claimed European soldiers, including British forces, would be sent to deter any future Russian aggression.

Trump's White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt also announced last night that Putin has agreed to hold talks directly with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
