City's hero reckons win has caused title shift in Nico time

NICO O'REILLY believes Manchester City have delivered a major blow to Arsenal's title challenge.

And O'Reilly warned City are ready to “kick on” and “fight hard” to overhaul Mikel Arteta’s men at the top of the Premier League table for a third time.

City saw off Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday thanks to two-goal hero O'Reilly and that killed off Arteta's dreams of winning the Quadruple.

Arsenal are still in the hunt for three trophies with the Champions League and FA Cup added to them having a nine-point lead over City in the title race.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand and the Gunners have still got to go to the Etihad on April 19 which could be decisive in the race.
