Carol: Awards give me a reality check

CAROL Vorderman says the stories of Pride Of Britain winners and nominees give her a “kick up the ass” every year.

The TV presenter said the awards, which see unsung heroes celebrated for courageous acts, provide a reality check on her own problems.
