Spending at boozers slumps as hard-up Brits cut down on pints

SKINT Brits are spending less at the boozer.

More than two in five punters said they were cutting down on pints.

Sales of draught beer and cider, wine and spirits are all down - amid fears of widespread pub closures.

The Barclays' consumer spend report also found half of us are spending less on meals out and takeaways.
