Nordi glad Black Cats hero Omar didn't Muk it up again

NORDI MUKIELE had a friendly dig at Sunderland match-winner Omar Alderete, telling his central defensive partner: About time, too!

Despite a language barrier, the pair have quickly struck up a solid understanding at the heart of the Black Cats defence and they stood firm to help Regis Le Bris’s side to a clean sheet and a first away win of the season.

Alderete showed his quality at the other end of the pitch by stealing in to claim a first-half winner from Granit Xhaka’s free-kick to open his goal account following the Paraguay international’s summer move from Spanish side Getafe.
