NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO gave his big guns the day off – but it was business as usual as his stand-in stars eased past gutsy Luton.

With Premier League leaders Liverpool heading to the City Ground for a title crunch on Tuesday, the Forest boss changed his entire team from the side that started the 3-0 win at Wolves last time out.

But whether it’s the league or the cup it makes no difference to Forest, who just can’t stop winning.

Nuno had the insurance of the cavalry on the bench – but he didn’t need them other than to add fresh legs as captain Ryan Yates inspired flying Forest to a seventh successive victory.

Yates broke the deadlock to head Forest into a 40th-minute lead against managerless Luton then played the delicious pass that helped set up the 68th-minute clincher for Ramon Sosa.
