Lags to flee jail clinging to flying machines

PRISON bosses have warned inmates could escape by clinging to big drones.

The flying machines are a problem around UK jails - delivering drugs, weapons, phones and food to lags.

Crooks on the outside simply wait for a text from a con and then fly drones up to cell windows with packages.

Mark Fairhurst, of the Prison Officers' Association, believes it is "crucial" the Government steps up its bid to roll out drone-blocking tech.
