The TV cook, 85, is amazed she earns so much dough judging on The Great British Bake Off.

Eating cake on the Channel 4 show is the easiest job she has ever had.

In a candid confession, Prue said: “I shouldn't say this, because they'll cut my pay in half, but it’s such a piece of cake to do.

“It's so easy. All I have to do is walk on, eat cake, walk off and get paid. What could be easier or nicer?

“It’s not an effort. Even at 5am, you don’t feel, ‘Oh, I’ve got to go to work: It’s not at all stressful.”
