A-Tak-tive new models for Mazda's EV fans

Mazda has used this year's Brussels motor show to unveil its second electric car, the 6e, which will sit alongside the MX-30 in the brand's line-up.

Available as a five-door hatchback, there'll be two models, the Takumi and Takumi Plus and a choice of two battery packs. First there's a 68.8kWh unit with an electric motor delivering 254bhp and 320Nm of torque doing 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds. Mazda claims it can do 300 miles on a single charge and is compatible with 200kW DC rapid charging, taking it from a 10 to 80% top-up
