Robbo tells Saints to do basics to blossom

STEPHEN ROBINSON has told his St Mirren players not to be embarrassed about their strengths and go back to basics to haul themselves out of drop danger.
The Premier Sports Cup winners' league campaign hit a new low last Saturday when mauled by Motherwell 5-0 at their own place.
They now travel to an improving Livingston side who will be looking to cut a 10-point deficit on the Buddies at the foot of the table.
Robinson took responsibility for last weekend after trying to match Motherwell’s formation and get creative players in the team.
Now he is looking for his Saints to focus on hard work and making life difficult for their opponents.
