'Inspirational' Stryjek back training 10 days after heart op
STUART KETTLWELL has revealed “walking miracle’ Max Stryjek has astonished medics after the Kilmarnock keeper returned to training 10 days after undergoing open-heart surgery.
The Rugby Park boss believes the 29-year-old’s inspirational recovery has astounded doctors and dumfounded teammates and staff at the Premiership club.
Stryjek went under the knife on November 18 after a heart problem was identified during routine annual medical testing.
And the Pole has been working on a rehab programme which Kettlewell admits has defied belief.
