Union boss Graham: You would not think this was Labour government

LABOUR faces growing unrest over plans to slash welfare payments amid fears vulnerable people will be forced into work they are unfit for, or plunged into poverty.

Work and Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall will today outline proposals to "fairly" reduce the benefits bill.

But she and Keir Starmer were warned not to target the poorest and instead make work pay while getting the wealthy to pay their fair share of taxes.
