It's belter of a mix-up for champion Wardley
FABIO WARDLEY was baffled when his newly-minted world championship belt was delivered with the wrong inscription.
Wardley was crowned interim heavyweight champion when he dramatically knocked out Joseph Parker last year.
He was upgraded to full WBO honours weeks later when then-undisputed ruler Oleksandr Usyk gave up one of his four belts.
Wardley had to make do with his prize being sent to him in the post - only to discover fellow heavyweight Dave Allen’s nickname had been engraved in error.
“My manager brought it to the gym and gave me it,” the 31-year-old said.
