Directors fooled by softly spoken star

RAB C Nesbitt star Gregor Fisher revealed directors are amazed he can “speak properly”.

The string-vest comedy character first hit screens in 1986 on Naked Video, before he was given his own series, which originally ran from 1988 to 1999.

During the show, Rab - who lives in Govan with wife “Mary Doll” and his two kids - is almost always drunk or propping up the bar at the Two Ways.

His broad Glaswegian accent is often hard to understand.
