Mum-of-two loses cancer battle

Mercury's secret daughter, who was revealed in a bombshell book last year, has died at the age of 48.The woman, known only as B, was fathered by the Queen singer during an affair in 1976, according to music journalist Lesley-Ann Jones who interviewed her for the biography.

The love child’s real name and identity were never made public.

Months on from the revelation, B's family has confirmed she died peacefully after a long battle with chordoma, a rare spinal cancer, leaving sons aged nine and seven.
