McGlynn: It was toxic for Hoops

JOHN MCGLYNN reckons Falkirk helped turn the Celtic Park atmosphere "toxic".

The Bairns kept the champions at bay until Tomas Cvancara broke the deadlock five minutes before the break.

By that point, Hoops fans had already vented their anger at the board, unfurling a banner demanding the Green Brigade's ban be lifted.

McGlynn, below, believes his steely troops created a nervous tension.

And he said: "We had them for a while. It went quiet, it was quite toxic.
