KILMARNOCK manager Neil McCann insists they are banging on doors trying to get recruits but might not get an answer until late in the transfer window.
The new Rugby Park boss is keen to strengthen his squad as they bid to beat the drop.
McCann remained tight-lipped on loan move for Rangers' Findlay Curtis and doubted they would have any signings ahead of the clash with Motherwell tomorrow.
He said: "Everybody at the club is striving to try and get one or two bodies in just to boost the squad because it's a long season.
"Hopeful for anyone before the weekend? Not the weekend, no, but I'm hoping before the end of the window.
