Supporters in scramble for cheap flights, Tartan Army to descend on North America
SCOTLAND fans have started an almighty clamour for flights to North America after their heroes booked a spot at the World Cup for the first time in 28 years.
The Tartan Army are on cloud nine after Steve Clarke's men saw off Denmark in spectacular fashion at Hampden Park, in a night that will go down in history as one of our greatest ever.
As the clock ticked down on Tuesday night, supporters were praying for a miracle - and it arrived in the 94th minute as Kieran Tierney lashed home before Kenny McLean lobbed the keeper from near the halfway line to put the icing on the cake.
It was an evening we will never forget - and the excitement did not end there.
For many, the fun has only just begun and once the hangovers cleared, fans were logging on to their computers yesterday morning as planning for the tournament - which will be held next summer in the United States, Mexico and Canada ~ got under way.
North East Tartan Army chief Chris Gibson has already got his flights in the bag.
