The former Aberdeen assistant rates the North Macedonia striker so highly he even gave Manchester City a glowing reference after his time at Pittodrie.

That helped Miovski win a dream £6million move from the Granite City to La Liga side Girona, where he struggled for playing time.

Now the 26-year-old is at Rangers and finally looks like hitting the goal trail for Danny Rohl’s side.

Miovski bagged a double in Saturday night's 3-0 league win at Kilmarnock.

It was reminiscent of his days with the Dons, where he netted 44 goals in just two seasons.
