Star claims it's now impossible for poorer kids to get break in movies

SCOTS Hollywood star Brian Cox claims working-class actors now face an impossible task to become successful.

The award-winning actor, famed for his portrayal of Logan Roy in Succession, says that compared to when he started off in the 60s, the situation is "terrible" as there is no pathway into theatre, TV or movies for ordinary people any more.

The 78-year-old was the son of a shopkeeper who died when Cox was just eight.
