Molly family wants QEUH answers
THE dad of tragic Molly Cuddihy is to meet the First Minister amid claims that “political pressure” may have forced the scandal-hit QEUH to open early.
The Record revealed yesterday how grieving John Cuddihy is backing the reopening of Scotland's hospital inquiry to look at fresh information Labour leader Anas Sarwar called “damning”.
Molly’s death last year is being probed by prosecutors after the 23-year-old cancer patient became seriously ill with an infection potentially acquired in the £1billion QEUH in 2018.
Seven deaths linked to infected water are now being probed amid Sarwar's claims health chiefs felt “pressured” to open the hospital before it was ready.
