Full steam ahead for Sadiku's Hoops side

CELTIC manager Elena Sadiku insists there is no excuse for slacking off as the winter break looms.

The Hoops play Aberdeen tomorrow then take on champions Hibs next weekend before the shutdown.

The Swede will fly off for some winter sun before returning for the opening of the transfer window. But the gaffer wants to see full focus before then.

“It has been busy and the squad is thin so there are a lot of players who have had to play a lot of games,” Sadiku said. “I think they will need the break and we will all benefit from it.
