FURY AT HOLYROOD'S PREDATORY POLITICIAN

A SENIOR MSP has told of their outrage after a sleazy colleague targeted their parliamentary assistant with obscene photographs.

The Daily Record revealed last week how the young man was shocked to be "bombarded" with X-rated images by an MSP via the Grindr gay dating app.

The scandal resulted in the Scottish Parliament being informed of the predatory behaviour of the elected member.

But he was not spoken to formally by the parliament's HR department as the complainer did not want to get involved in a conflict with a senior MSP.

Another MSP, who helped counsel the assistant, said: "I felt, and I still feel, the parliament should have spoken to the MSP.

"I also felt my employee should have been treated more as a victim, given the nature of the graphic content he received, which was well beyond what he may have expected.

"It was pretty outrageous. And I told my assistant it simply wasn't appropriate behaviour. I suggested, 'Shouldn't we be reporting him?'

"It was exploitative and it was definitely inappropriate."
