A contractor on top of having a plumbing business, his old man had him doing all sorts, whether it was putting up ceilings, painting or cutting grass.

A chance to get a ball back at his feet has presented itself again at Queen's Park.

And tomorrow offers the chance not only to reflect on how far he's come but also to reward his Celtic-daft dad.

Shiels, who watched Queen's shock Rangers on TV before joining them in the summer, said: "I want to go and experience that for myself.
