ETHAN SCHILTE-BROWN never lost faith he'd crack it at Kilmarnock despite taking a timeout in Canada between Rugby Park spells.

The defender first moved to Ayrshire as a young teen from Orlando City's academy. But he headed back across the pond to play for Halifax Wanderers six months later.

After turning 18, he gave it a second go with loans at Cumnock and Dumbarton vital to getting him ready.

The 20-year-old certainly looks the part after helping unbeaten Killie secure a clean sheet on his third start.

Schilte-Brown said: “It’s all come about in an unconventional way. But I've always had faith in God and his plan for me. I've never felt I wasn't going to make it at this club.
