DRAWING its last breath 70million years ago, all 80 tons of an old Alamosaurus crashes to the ground.

The noise of the impact is overwhelming. It makes your head spin.

This exhibition, narrated by actor Damian Lewis, comes amid huge interest in dinosaurs, with experts talking of a “golden age” of discovery with new species found each week.

Based on the Apple TV+ series from which it takes the first half of its name, Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs is billed as the closest you can get to seeing the beasts for yourself.
